She blinks, nods, and settles herself a little further away in order to give him some space. Whoever he might be, Alice is certain to stay— should he need her, anyway. The girl would like to think that someone would do the same for her, should she ever fall into such a vulnerable position.
“Then walk. Come on.”
Rick’s legs were able to move, but there was no way he was walking for the life of him. He wouldn’t be able to force himself up, wouldn’t be able to stagger around in the Georgia heat - he would pass out before they made it to wherever they needed to be. He attempts to sit up anyway, winces in pain and falls back down. It’s no use.
