Beth knew all too well that he
wouldn’t want to talk about it.
She just hoped that her curiosity
wouldn’t get the better of her.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered softly.
Rick didn’t want the apology,
he didn’t need her to remind
him that he’d lost one of the
best things he'd ever done.
“We should find the others,”
he soon changed the subject.
