Opting to return to the house discovered days ago, but abandon to investigate whether there was anything in the vicinity, Alice noticed the open door, which she recalled having closed. Albeit this oddity, she assumed she had been careless, in spite of not committing such errors, but as she enclosed the distance in between her and the house, the silhouette of a man was noticed; no knowledge possessed in regards to him were a hint towards the motif for the door being opened. However, the noises from within and the manner in which he attempted to flee from there indicated there were others inside. Approaching the man with cautiousness, Alice did not seize her guns in an attempt to convince him she was not menacing to him.

He needed to find the others, he needed to find his son and his friend, warn them before they went inside and were killed - he had no doubt that these people would not hesitate in doing so. He hadn’t expected to run into another person, and it terrified him. He stopped in his tracks, eyes focused on her and no one else. The other two didn’t seem to be close to the home yet, thank God. Was she one of them? He couldn’t help but question it in his mind.
