She watched as he glanced around
the sanctuary before looking back
to her once again. She felt she should
go to try and pull some sorta weight
outside of cooking and cleaning
clothes for a change. His answer to
her question made her sigh heavily.
”C’mon Dad, please? I can handle myself
out there.”
Now that she was here, safe behind four
walls, there was no way she would go
outside again unless she needed to. He
refused to risk putting her life in danger.
He shook his head, ignoring the fact she
was pleading him to tag along. It wasn’t
going to happen.
“No, you can’t. I’m not having you go
back out there again when someone
might want you for what you can do.”
