Almost instantly, her hopes dropped,
her spirit fell in just the slightest.
But somehow, she still kept faith.
“They’re out there somewhere,”
Beth replied confidently. They had to be.
He watched the youngest Greene’s
hopes in finding the others shatter.
He wanted to find the others, he
wanted everything to go back to
being normal again. “We’ll find
them,” he wanted to reassure her,
even if it meant lying.
